New President steps in for 2012
Changing of the Guard
Outgoing President David Wright
(r) hands over the chain of office to
Con McNamara as he commences his role as Newbridge
Chamber
President for 2012. The 44th AGM took place on March 28th
2012, when
David thanked everyone for their support over the past two
busy years. He
wished Con well with his plans for the year ahead.
Con outlined his main ambitions for the Chamber, while he is
at the helm,
to be the successful roll out of Newbridge 200 celebrations
and the relocation
of Chamber's offices to a new location in the Newbridge
Industrial
estate,
while simultaneously establishing much needed
incubator units and
training facilities at the new site. It looks like a busy 2012
in store!

celebrates its bicentenary on 10th September 2012! To celebrate this
momentous occasion from our early origins as a military barracks
location, Newbridge Chamber is leading a year of celebration. This
will include a Newbridge 200 Festival from 6th to 16th September,
with lots happening across community, cultural and commercial
